Data is valuable. How Capri is contributing to the international community

With the implementation of its 19 Cognitive Solutions, Capri is developing a number of sensors and solutions generating and/or leveraging on data. It means a large amount of structured information to be used as part of cognitive applications.

Data is a powerful resource toward digitisation and it can be incredibly valuable for manufacturing (see recommendation 9 of the 2018 World Manufacturing Forum Report), since it is the enabler to discover insights and improve processes.

Capri will promote the publication and generation of Open data Set (industrial laboratory data, mainly) that will be available in the Open Data Community (through https://www.openaire.eu/), so that the information can be used for further research, training or other activities by interested organization outside of the consortium.
